1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or as needed
Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, egg, flour, and salt, stirring until the mixture is smooth and cohesive.

Heat a thin layer of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Working in batches, scoop about 1/6 of the potato mixture into the skillet, then flatten each portion into a patty. Continue to add more patties, cooking each for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
