Ingredients List
-
800 grams waxy potatoes
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
salt to taste
Instructions
-
Peel and cut the potatoes into long strips, about 8 mm thick, to make your fries. A French fry cutter works great for this step.
-
Soak the fries in water for a minimum of 30 minutes. Drain them well, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
-
Preheat your Philips Airfryer to 320°F (160°C).
-
Place the fries in a large bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss to coat evenly. Transfer the fries to the Philips Airfryer basket, slide it in, and set the timer for 18 minutes.
-
Once the timer goes off, pull out the basket and shake the fries. Adjust the temperature to 180°C and set the timer for another 12 minutes.
-
After 6 minutes, give the basket another shake to ensure even cooking.
-
Let the fries cook until they turn golden brown. Season with salt and serve immediately on a platter.
