G's Marinade for Flank Steak
Ingredients Needed

½ cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon minced onion

1 teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 (1 1/2-pound) beef flank steak
Instructions

In a shallow dish, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, onion, ginger, and pepper. Coat the steak with the marinade, cover, and chill for at least 6 hours.

Preheat an outdoor grill over high heat and lightly oil the grill grate.

Grill the steak for 7 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your preferred level of doneness.
