Garlic-Infused Green Beans with Shallots

1 large shallot, chopped

8 cloves garlic, sliced

15 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed

salt and ground black pepper to taste

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cooking Instructions

In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add shallots and garlic to the skillet and sauté, stirring often, until they soften and begin to brown, about 5 to 10 minutes.

Add the green beans to the shallot mixture, seasoning with salt and pepper. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the beans are tender, around 12 minutes.

Remove from heat and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the green beans before serving.
