Garlic Shrimp Pasta Dish

Ingredients Needed

1 pound vermicelli pasta

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons minced garlic

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Boil pasta in a large pot with a bit of vegetable oil until it reaches an al dente texture.

In a separate pot, cook shrimp in salted water for 3 to 5 minutes, or until they turn pink. Adjust cooking time based on shrimp size. Once cooked, remove tails and keep shrimp warm in a bowl of water.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter or margarine with minced garlic. Microwave on high for about 45 seconds, or until melted. Stir well.

Drain the pasta and place it in a serving dish. Mix in the garlic butter and shrimp, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately while warm.
