Grammy's Overnight Lasagna Delight
Ingredients Needed

1 ½ pounds ground beef

1 (30 ounce) jar marinara sauce

¾ cup water

1 teaspoon salt

12 lasagna noodles

1 (16 ounce) package cottage cheese

12 ounces grated mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain the excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce, water, and a pinch of salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove from heat.

Place 6 uncooked noodles in a 9x13-inch baking dish, breaking them if needed to fit. Pour half of the prepared sauce over the noodles. Add a layer of half the cottage cheese and half the shredded mozzarella. Repeat the layers with the remaining noodles, sauce, cheese, and mozzarella. Finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan on top. Cover tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the lasagna, covered, for about 1 hour, or until the noodles are tender, the cheese is melted, and the sauce is bubbly. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
