Instructions
Start by gathering all the ingredients.
In a large skillet, combine ground beef and onion over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring occasionally to break up the beef, until browned, then drain excess fat.
Transfer the cooked beef and onions to a slow cooker. Stir in ketchup, sugar, vinegar, and mustard. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, celery seed, and pepper.
Cover and cook on Low for 3 hours before serving for optimal flavor.
