Grilled Pork Chops with Honey Marinade

Ingredients List
-
½ cup honey
-
6 tablespoons soy sauce
-
3 tablespoons lemon juice
-
2 teaspoons minced garlic
-
6 pork chops
Instructions
-
In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic until smooth. Pour the marinade into a resealable plastic bag, reserving about 1/4 of it in a bowl for later basting. Add the pork chops to the bag, coat them well, then seal the bag, pressing out any excess air. Refrigerate and marinate for at least 5 hours.
-
Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate. Remove the pork chops from the marinade and shake off the excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
-
Grill the pork chops on the preheated grill, basting with the reserved marinade during the final minutes, until the chops are cooked through (15 to 20 minutes). The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C). Allow the chops to rest for 3 minutes before serving.
Cooking Tip
The grilling time may vary depending on how thick the pork chops are.
