Grilled Pork Skewers

Ingredients List

1 cup white sugar

1 cup soy sauce

1 onion, diced

5 cloves garlic, chopped

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 (4 pound) boneless pork loin, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes

10 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, soy sauce, onion, garlic, and black pepper. Add the pork and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible.

Heat an outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grill grates.

Thread the marinated pork onto soaked skewers. Grill the skewers for 3 to 5 minutes per side, until the pork is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
