1 pound ground beef chuck

1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms

1 medium onion, chopped

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles

1 cup sour cream

2 teaspoons finely grated raw horseradish (Optional)
Cooking Instructions

In a large nonstick skillet, cook and stir ground beef, mushrooms, onions, and garlic over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes, until the beef is browned and crumbled. Stir in flour and cook for about 2 minutes. Add in broth, condensed soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes to blend the flavors.

While the beef mixture simmers, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add noodles, return to a boil, and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until al dente, around 6 minutes. Drain the noodles and keep them warm.

Mix sour cream and horseradish in a bowl. Stir this mixture into the beef sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until heated through. Serve the creamy beef mixture over the cooked noodles.
