3 cups cooked short-grain rice

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon butter

Instructions
Heat canola oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add ground beef and the white parts of the green onion; reduce the heat to medium. Cook, stirring frequently, until the beef is browned and the onion becomes fragrant, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Add the kimchi and gochujang to the beef mixture and cook, stirring, until everything is warmed through and aromatic, about 2 to 4 minutes. Add the rice and cook, stirring occasionally, until the rice is hot and evenly coated with gochujang, about 3 to 5 more minutes.
Drizzle sesame oil over the rice mixture and stir to combine. Garnish with the green parts of the green onion.
Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Crack the egg into the pan and cook until the white is fully set and the yolk is slightly firm, about 3 to 4 minutes. Place the egg on top of the fried rice.
