Lemon Pepper Green Beans with Almonds

¼ cup sliced almonds

2 teaspoons lemon pepper
Instructions

Steam the green beans in a steamer basket over 1-inch of boiling water. Cover and cook until they are tender yet crisp, about 10 minutes. Drain well.

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add almonds and sauté until they turn golden brown. Season with lemon pepper. Add the cooked green beans and toss to coat evenly.
