Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Heat a skillet on medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer the chops to a casserole dish.

In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, water, onion, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring the chili powder dissolves. Pour the mixture over the pork chops.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the pork chops are no longer pink in the center.
