Ingredients Needed
-
1 ear fresh corn in the husk
Instructions
-
Quickly rinse the corn, still in its husk, under running water. Then, wrap it in a paper towel and set it on a microwave-safe plate.
-
Microwave the corn until it's hot and fully cooked, about 3 to 5 minutes. Afterward, remove it from the microwave and let it sit for 2 minutes. Peel off the husk to enjoy.
Chef's Tip
Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the corn. For one large ear, I microwave it for 5 minutes in a 1000-watt microwave. If your corn is smaller, you'll need to adjust the cooking time accordingly.
No need to worry about removing the corn silk. Once you peel off the husk, the silk will come off easily with it, leaving your corn perfectly clean. Since the corn is hot, I recommend using a clean dishcloth to handle and remove the husk.
