Minnesota-Style Pork Chop Casserole

1 cup uncooked wild rice

1 ½ cups water

1 (8 ounce) can canned mushrooms

1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Cooking Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a skillet, heat a small amount of oil and brown the pork chops that are seasoned with salt and pepper. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with nonstick spray and evenly distribute the washed rice at the bottom of the dish.

Add water and mushrooms to the dish, then sprinkle with chicken bouillon. Place the browned pork chops on top of the rice, and spoon the soup over the chops and rice. Cover the casserole tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the rice and pork chops are tender.
