Perfectly Grilled Flat Iron Steaks
Ingredients List

2 (1 pound) flat iron steaks

¼ cup balsamic vinegar

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

3 tablespoons finely chopped green onions

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme

½ teaspoon dry mustard

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Cooking Instructions

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the steaks with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, thyme, mustard, and black pepper. Squeeze out the excess air, seal the bag, and knead gently to coat the steaks thoroughly with the marinade. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Take the steaks out of the fridge and allow them to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.

Remove the steaks from the bag and discard the marinade.

Grill the steaks for 6 to 7 minutes per side, or until they firm up and are pink in the center with juices running. Use a thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C). Transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
