Pierogi Dough

Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

¼ teaspoon baking powder

1 cup warm water

1 egg, beaten
Directions

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Create a well in the center of the mixture.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, warm water, and beaten egg. Slowly pour this mixture into the well of the dry ingredients. Knead the dough for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth.

Cover the dough and let it rest for 2 hours. Once rested, roll out the dough and fill it with your preferred filling.
