Instructions

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in water, rice, bouillon granules, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 14 to 16 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
