Savory Stuffed Pork Chops

Ingredients Needed

4 thick cut pork chops

1 cup dry bread crumbs

1 teaspoon white sugar

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

5 tablespoons melted butter, divided

1 small yellow onion, chopped

2 tablespoons dried parsley

1 cup beef broth
Instructions

Cut slits into the thick end of the pork chops to create a pocket. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, sugar, pepper, salt, 3 tablespoons of melted butter, onions, and parsley. Mix well and stuff the chops generously. Secure with toothpicks.

In a skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Brown the stuffed chops slowly over medium heat for 5 minutes per side. Add beef broth, cover, and simmer on low for 30 minutes until tender, turning the chops halfway through. Remove toothpicks before serving and drizzle the pan juices over the chops.
