1 cup uncooked white rice

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 1-quart baking dish.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in the rice and cook until it becomes slightly golden, around 2 to 3 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth, add salt to taste, and let simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the broth is fully absorbed. Fluff the pilaf with a fork before serving.
