Slow Cooker Chicken with Noodles

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 onion, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped (Optional)

1 (12 ounce) package frozen egg noodles
Instructions
Combine chicken, water, onion, celery, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker. Set the temperature to Low and let it cook for 6 to 8 hours.
Once the chicken is fully cooked and tender, remove it from the slow cooker. Shred or chop it into small pieces, then place it in a small casserole dish to keep warm.
Increase the slow cooker heat to High and add the frozen egg noodles. Cook until the noodles are soft, then return the chicken pieces to the broth. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
