Sweet and Tangy Honey Mustard Pork Chops
Ingredients List
-
¼ cup honey
-
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
1 ½ pounds center-cut boneless pork chops - 1/2-inch thick
-
garlic powder, or to taste
Cooking Instructions
-
In a small bowl, combine the honey and mustard until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
-
Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops, sprinkle with half of the garlic powder, and cook until browned, about 3 minutes. Flip the chops, add the remaining garlic powder, and cook for another 3 minutes.
-
Brush the honey-mustard mixture on the chops, flip them, and cook for 5 minutes. Flip the chops again, coat them with more sauce, and cook until the pork is no longer pink inside, and a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 145°F (63°C), about 5 additional minutes.
