Turkey Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf

1 teaspoon vegetable oil

7 slices turkey bacon, or more to taste

1 pound extra-lean ground turkey

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 egg

½ small onion, diced

1 slice French bread, crumbled

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, or more to taste

2 teaspoons garlic powder

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

¼ cup ketchup

2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard

1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
Cooking Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Heat a bit of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until it’s browned and crispy, about 5 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels, then crumble once it’s cool enough to handle.

In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, shredded Cheddar cheese, egg, chopped onion, crumbled French bread, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and crumbled turkey bacon. Mix until fully blended, then shape it into a loaf and place it in the center of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. A meat thermometer should read at least 165°F (74°C) when inserted into the thickest part of the loaf.
