A Park Hyatt is set to take residence in a lofty location in Malaysia next year.

This upcoming Park Hyatt in Malaysia's capital will occupy the uppermost levels of Southeast Asia's tallest skyscraper.
Slated to open in the spring of 2025, the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur will be situated atop Merdeka 118, a 2,227-foot tower that was inaugurated earlier this year. While specific details about the ultraluxury hotel remain limited from Hyatt, the event platform Cvent hints at over 250 guest rooms, along with a spa and meeting facilities.
According to the Park Hyatt's Instagram, the spa will feature "signature treatments, indigenous techniques and products, and local art and design." Renderings on the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur website showcase an indoor pool with breathtaking views of the city, proving that enjoying a splash high above the ground is always a great idea.

Guests will have access to lounge, bar, and restaurant areas, along with classic Park Hyatt features like the Living Room and Dining Room concepts. The culinary offerings at Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur will be led by Executive Chef Stig Drageide and Executive Pastry Chef Holger Deh, as reported by The Malaysian Reserve.
Rates for World of Hyatt points are not yet available, but I, a devoted fan of Catherine Zeta-Jones, can’t wait to check in. Zeta-Jones starred in "Entrapment," a crime thriller featuring the nearby Petronas Towers, which were the tallest buildings in Malaysia until 2019, as a significant plot element.
Staying at Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is bound to offer a more luxurious and elevated experience than the bank heist in "Entrapment," with perhaps the only crime being the moment you have to check out and leave this stunning place.
