Breeze Airways Is Launching 22 More Routes Connecting 20 U.S. Cities
Just over two months after revealing nearly two dozen new routes, Breeze Airways is back with an additional 22 nonstop routes from 20 cities across the country, many set for seasonal summer service.
The growing roster features new flights departing from Connecticut, New York, and Los Angeles, among others. Additionally, the low-cost airline founded by JetBlue’s David Neeleman will introduce a brand-new destination—Portland, Maine—starting May 17, offering flights to four locations.
This announcement comes with a new fare promotion, providing one-way tickets as low as $39 for bookings made by February 20, 2023, for travel by September 5, 2023.
Breeze made its debut in April 2021 with a three-tier fare structure: “Nice,” its basic class; “Nicer,” a midrange option that includes a free checked bag; and “Nicest,” the airline’s first-class offering, featuring larger seats, extra legroom, two checked bags, and complimentary snacks and drinks. There are no fees for changes or cancellations up to 15 minutes before departure, and families can sit together without additional charges.
The airline operates a fleet of Airbus A220 aircraft featuring 36 first-class seats arranged in a two-by-two setup and 90 economy seats in a two-by-three configuration (some offering extra legroom). It also utilizes smaller Embraer 190 and 195 regional jets.
