Bud Light is offering complimentary beer to any extraterrestrial that escapes Area 51

The world is on the edge of discovering the hidden truths of Area 51. And if one of those truths involves living aliens, we’ve got good news – they’ll be welcomed with free Bud Light cans.

Anheuser-Busch, the company behind Bud Light, initially tweeted, 'We'd like to be the first to officially announce that we won't be sponsoring the Area 51 raid.'

But the brand quickly reversed course, saying, 'Forget it. Free Bud Light to any alien that makes it out.'

The company even created a special label for its Area 51 Edition Bud Light.

‘Greetings Earthlings. Welcome to the legendary Area 51,’ reads the top of the can. ‘We know of no other space beer brewed and aged to be more refreshing. Our cryogenic aging process creates a light-bodied space lager with a crisp, clean finish, a fresh taste, and smooth drinkability. Take us to your leader…for drinks.’

There’s just one condition: Anheuser-Busch is requesting 51,000 retweets to make this happen. The tweet still has a long way to go.
