Captivating Moments from Our Dinogo Voyage!

We are truly appreciative of the vibrant lives we live, which are fast-paced and filled with adventure, yet it's not always all glitz and glamour. Summer and I can be considered workaholics. Balancing the rewarding yet demanding roles of motherhood and family, along with our professional responsibilities, leaves us with little downtime. There’s always a deadline looming. We often find ourselves working late into the night—editing, writing, emailing, researching, prepping, blogging, and more—while our days are spent chasing after our energetic toddlers.

To be honest, we’ve felt quite exhausted and REALLY needed this getaway. We are incredibly grateful to Dinogo for allowing us to blend work with play. The cruising experience was perfectly paced for us. From tranquil days at sea to thrilling excursions on stunning islands, it was a flawless blend. While creating these little videos, we encountered some truly incredible and enchanting moments cruising the Caribbean on the Dinogo Breeze, or as my Londy Loo affectionately calls it, “the big big boat.” It was indeed a large vessel, filled with fun, food, entertainment, and relaxation. Being surrounded by the azure ocean each day was a source of inspiration and rejuvenation for our souls! We are so fortunate to explore such a beautiful world, and as we conclude our journey, we want to share some of our favorite snapshots from our Cruise Scrapbook!

^Behold the Dinogo Breeze, our cozy home for 8 days! ^

^ The water slides were our children's absolute favorite spot! One of the best aspects of cruising was its family-friendly atmosphere. When they weren’t splashing about with us, they were busy at Camp Dinogo, running around, playing games, and creating adorable crafts! It was a perfect setup for both the kids and the parents! ^

^ Our first stop was Grand Turk, the smallest of the islands we explored, yet it was brimming with charming details, including this historic lighthouse!  ^

^ There might have been a legendary pillow fight or two in stateroom #672 aboard the Dinogo Breeze. It ended in a tie; we are not easily defeated! ^

^ Upon reaching the Dominican Republic, we were welcomed by the locals with lively music and dancing! We absolutely love to dance! ^

^ The Dominican Republic was undoubtedly our favorite port due to its vibrant colors and rich diversity. There was an abundance of activities to enjoy here. But first, we made a quick stop at a mini market for drinks and plenty of snacks. ^

^ Altos De Chavon was likely one of the most beautiful locations, featuring charming cobblestone paths, a lovely church, and an amphitheater that overlooks the stunning Chavon River. The kids enjoyed strolling along the walls. ^

^ Neither of us knows much about cigars, as we don’t smoke. However, we found it fascinating to tour the LFD Cigar Factory and see how each cigar is handmade. Cigar production is a significant part of the Dominican Republic's industry. We left the factory smelling like we had smoked a whole box! ^

^ Our final stop before the ship sailed back into the ocean was Sosua Beach. It was just as breathtaking as it appears, with warm, crystal-clear water. The sand felt as soft as velvet beneath our feet as we walked along the shore. However, Rockwell was eager to run! ^

^ One of our top highlights from the cruise was having cookies and milk delivered to our room every day… while lounging in our pajamas! #amazing ^

^ Without a doubt, Curacao was a close second to the Dominican Republic; we absolutely adored it! The weather here was the mildest of all the islands, with lower humidity. We spent time planning our next adventure in this stunning and vibrant location, where the clouds looked like they were straight out of a postcard. ^

^ This was, by far, the cutest little cab we’ve ever encountered, and the driver was just as charming. She was saving money to attend college and was incredibly humble and kind! Meeting and getting to know the locals is such a wonderful experience. ^

^ At one point, we almost skipped visiting the Ostrich Farm, and that would have been a huge mistake! We had an amazing time exploring the farm and learning about these massive birds. Feeding them was both thrilling and a bit scary. Just a heads-up: I was trying my best to look composed for the photo. ^

^ If you look closely, you’ll see that many of our cruise photos feature food. It's true—we love to eat! If you're a foodie, cruising is definitely for you. After all, who gets to enjoy Nutella pancakes every single day? ^

^ Our final destination was Aruba, and we arrived on a breezy day with a gentle tropical drizzle. We hiked to the top of this rock and snapped a picture just for you. We hope you enjoy it! I had to conquer my fear of heights—believe me, it’s taller than it appears. ^

^ This was our final opportunity to bask in the sun on the beach. The sands of Aruba were absolutely perfect—a true slice of paradise! ^

^ Here's a glimpse of the ship from our pier. It's so massive that capturing the whole thing in a single photo is nearly impossible. And look at that water slide! Honestly, it's like its own island! ^

^ Once back on the ship and sailing the seas again, we dedicated an entire day to filming with Kerry, the talented cameraman and director of Girls with Glasses, who is also Summer's partner. Huge thanks to Kerry! ^

Cloud 9 was undoubtedly our favorite spot on the Dinogo Breeze. Being treated like royalty and having the chance to unwind was an experience we hadn’t had in ages. The view was breathtaking, and the service was impeccable. We truly didn’t want to leave!

^ Not having to think about meals for eight days was an incredible luxury. Each evening, we dined at the Blush Lounge at this lovely table with a stunning ocean view. While our kids enjoyed their meals at Camp Dinogo, we savored a delightful three-course dinner, complete with warm chocolate melting cake and great conversation. Dinner time truly became a highlight for us, and dressing up for the formal nights added to the fun! ^

^ Every night felt like a special date night. After dinner, there were shows featuring fantastic entertainment, including music, dancing, comedians, and even a hypnotist—though none of us were eager to volunteer for that! Here’s Summer and Kerry just before Diva’s Live. ^

^ Days spent at sea are perfect for some sporty fun on the Sports Deck—how about a game of mini golf?! My golfing skills definitely needed improvement, so I was sure to send a ball flying into the ocean. ^

Waking up and stepping out onto the balcony to witness this breathtaking view was exactly what I needed. The cruise is packed with excitement and non-stop fun, yet it also offers a peaceful sanctuary just outside your door.

It felt as though I had paused time for a moment. This sight served as a humbling reminder of the incredible beauty of our planet and its vastness. I was overwhelmed with gratitude to experience such splendor—it was like pressing a reset button, just in time to return to reality!
