Deal alert: Here are some of the top fall travel rates we've discovered

Looking to travel this autumn without overspending? Take a look at this curated list of some of the best fall travel bargains TPG has found.
These offers let you explore both the country and the globe without straining your wallet. With many countries now welcoming Americans back, the travel options are abundant.
Canada

Canada is reopening its borders to fully vaccinated Americans starting August 9, and there are some fantastic deals available if you're planning to visit this fall.
Award tickets on airlines like Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines start at just 6,000 miles each way, as originally highlighted by TPG on July 21.
Airline: Air Canada/American/Delta/United
Routes: Between JFK/LGA/ORD/DEN and YYZ/YOW/YUL/YEG/YVR (and more)
Cost: Starting at 6,000 miles one way
Dates: Most dates available throughout fall and winter
Pay with: The Platinum Card® from American Express (5x on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, up to $500,000 annually), Citi Prestige® Card (5x on airfare), Citi Premier® Card (see rates and fees) (3x on air travel), Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on air travel), American Express® Gold Card (3x on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel), or Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2x on travel)
The details for the Citi Prestige Card have been independently gathered by Dinogo. The information on this page has not been reviewed or endorsed by the card issuer.
For instance, Delta is offering round-trip flights from New York (JFK/LGA) to Toronto (YYZ) for just 12,000 SkyMiles. This offer is available on most fall dates.

Moreover, American Airlines has round-trip award tickets from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Vancouver (YVR) starting at 17,500 AAdvantage miles on select dates this fall, as first reported by TPG's Andrew Kunesh.
Deals are also available between various other U.S. and Canadian cities throughout the upcoming season.
However, there's a minor catch with these award ticket offers: The taxes and fees for most round-trip award tickets to Canada typically hover around $60. Depending on the route, it may be more cost-effective to purchase the ticket outright if the cash price is reasonable.
Be sure to check TPG's latest valuations of various loyalty programs to determine if using miles is a good option for you.
France

This fall and winter, flights from Newark (EWR) to Paris (ORY) on French Bee start at just $199 one way. Hurry: This fare has already increased from the $139 reported by TPG's Caroline Tanner back in early July.
Nonstop options from San Francisco (SFO) to ORY are available starting at $189.
Airline: French Bee
Routes: Between EWR/SFO and ORY
Cost: Starting at $189 each way
Dates: Various dates from October 2021 to March 2022
Pay with: The Platinum Card from American Express (5x on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, up to $500,000 on these purchases annually), Citi Prestige Card (5x on airfare), Citi Premier Card (3x on air travel), Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on air travel), American Express Gold Card (3x on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel), or Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2x on travel)
While French Bee operates as a no-frills low-cost airline, these fares provide an excellent opportunity for travelers to reach France at a significantly reduced price, allowing passengers to customize their journey by selecting either premium or economy class.
Greece
According to a tweet from Run with Miles, Air Serbia is offering business-class fares starting at just $647 one way from New York (JFK) to Athens, Greece (ATH). This offer is available on select dates in August and September and includes nonstop flights from JFK to Belgrade, Serbia (BEG).
Although flights to Greece involve a lengthy six-hour layover in BEG, the cost is comparable to that of an economy ticket, and Air Serbia's business class includes lounge access.
Airline: Air Serbia
Routes: Between JFK and ATH/BEG
Cost: Starting at $647 each way
Dates: Various dates in August and September 2021
Pay with: The Platinum Card from American Express (5x on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year), Citi Prestige Card (5x on airfare), Citi Premier Card (3x on air travel), Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on air travel), American Express Gold Card (3x on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel), or Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2x on travel)

The Netherlands
Travel to Amsterdam this fall with TAP Air Portugal, offering round-trip fares starting at $399 from various U.S. cities. These flights typically include a layover in Lisbon (LIS) or Porto (OPO) and may feature one of TAP's new Airbus A330-900neos.
Airline: TAP Air Portugal
Routes: Between BOS/ORD/EWR/MIA/SFO and AMS (and others)
Cost: Starting at $399 round-trip
Dates: Various dates from September 2021 to March 2022
Pay with: The Platinum Card from American Express (5x on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, up to $500,000 on these purchases annually), Citi Prestige Card (5x on airfare), Citi Premier Card (3x on air travel), Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on air travel), American Express Gold Card (3x on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel), or Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2x on travel)
For instance, you can book a $399 round-trip ticket from Miami (MIA) to Amsterdam (AMS) this November.

The lowest fares come from TAP's most restrictive fare class, meaning you'll need to pay extra for services like checked baggage and seat selection. Fortunately, upgrades to more flexible fare classes are only slightly more expensive.
Keep in mind that TAP offers stopovers in Portugal at no additional cost on select bookings. This means your $400 flight to the Netherlands could also allow you to explore Portugal.
Additionally, TAP provides affordable flights from the U.S. to various other European destinations, including the United Kingdom, which reopened for Americans on August 2.

Tahiti

As originally reported by TPG's Ryan Patterson on July 24, you can fly from Los Angeles (LAX) to Papeete, Tahiti (PPT), on Air France in business class this fall and spring for just 64,000 Flying Blue miles each way. Air France operates flights from LAX to PPT three times a week, resuming in September, according to a Google Flights search.
Airline: Air France
Routes: Between LAX and PPT
Cost: 64,000 Flying Blue Miles one way
Dates: From September 2021 through June 2022
Pay with: The Platinum Card from American Express (5x on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, up to $500,000 on these purchases annually), Citi Prestige Card (5x on airfare), Citi Premier Card (3x on air travel), Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on air travel), American Express Gold Card (3x on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel), or Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2x on travel)
Although business-class availability to Tahiti is limited this fall, there are still seats to be found. If you can't secure a seat for your desired fall dates, there is ample availability in the spring.
Additionally, Flying Blue is currently running a transfer bonus of 30% for Amex Membership Rewards. This means that if you transfer points to Flying Blue during this promotion, your one-way business-class ticket to Tahiti could cost only around 50,000 Membership Rewards points each way.
United States

Flights to Florida are remarkably affordable.
JetBlue offers flights from New York (JFK) to Jacksonville, Florida (JAX), for just $137 round-trip throughout the fall for Blue Basic fares. With a variety of nearby Atlantic Coast beaches like Ponte Vedra, JAX is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a relaxing beach getaway in Florida.
Flights to South Florida with ultra-low-cost carriers are even more affordable: Spirit has round-trip fares as low as $61 from New York (LGA) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on select dates in August, September, and October. Similarly, Frontier offers flights from LGA to Miami (MIA) starting at $62 round-trip.
Airline: JetBlue/Frontier/Spirit

Cost: Starting at $61 round-trip
Dates: Various dates from August to October 2021
Pay with: The Platinum Card from American Express (5x on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, up to $500,000 on these purchases annually), Citi Prestige Card (5x on airfare), Citi Premier Card (3x on air travel), Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x on air travel), American Express Gold Card (3x on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel), or Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2x on travel)

While the sample itineraries to Florida provide great value, there are numerous deals available across the country.
