Delta to Offer Cold Brew, Canned Wine, and Ice Cream Sundaes on Flights

Beginning this month, Delta Air Lines passengers will discover exciting new snack and drink options in the air. The airline has collaborated with several woman- and LGBTQ-owned small businesses to introduce fresh selections, including cold brew coffee, canned wine, and ice cream sundaes.
What’s on the menu? Here’s a rundown of some new items, the flights they’ll be available on, and when the service kicks off.
Explorer Cold Brew
Coffee enthusiasts will be thrilled—Delta has teamed up with LGBTQ-owned Explorer Cold Brew Company to offer a bottled, single-origin cold brew coffee sourced from Ethiopia. This new cold brew (similar to iced coffee but brewed with cooler water over a longer period for a smoother flavor) will be served on coast-to-coast and long-haul Honolulu flights.
Thrive Farmers Tea
No need to fret, tea enthusiasts are included! Passengers across all cabins can now request Thrive Farmers English Breakfast tea, while Delta One customers can select from Guizhou Green, Egyptian Chamomile, Pacific Peppermint, and Earl Grey teas. (Delta One is Delta’s premium cabin class available on long-haul international flights and select domestic routes, including some to Hawai‘i.)
Delta Sundaes
Atlanta's own ice cream producer High Road Craft is collaborating with Delta to create gourmet ice cream for travelers. Delta One passengers will enjoy the High Road’s Vanilla Fleur De Sel flavor, which they can customize into their own sundae with toppings like morello cherry compote, chocolate sauce, and speculoos cookie crumbles. Later this summer, the Delta Sundae will be available in all other cabins on long-haul international flights—and indeed, we believe that a scoop of ice cream can ease the discomfort of a transatlantic journey.
Une Femme Sparkling Wine
Beginning in mid-July, all domestic Delta passengers can request a canned sparkling white Blanc de Blancs from women-owned Une Femme Wines—with delightful hints of honeysuckle, orange blossom, and Meyer lemon peel. Who doesn’t enjoy a little bubbly?
Old-Fashioneds and Margaritas

Craving an old-fashioned or a margarita? Delta is now offering these classic premixed cocktails from Atlanta-based Tip Top Proper Cocktails on all domestic and transoceanic flights.
Big Wave Golden Ale
Even if your destination isn’t Hawai‘i, you can still savor the islands with a craft beer. Cans of Big Wave Golden Ale from Kona Brewing Co. (featuring citrus and honey notes) are now available on domestic Delta flights.
Cheddar Sunchips and Kate’s Lemon Coconut Bars
Delta is introducing Harvest Cheddar-flavored mini Sunchips to its complimentary onboard snack offerings across all flights. Additionally, starting in August, travelers will also be able to select a lemon coconut bar from Kate’s Real Food (currently, Delta offers Kate’s dark chocolate cherry and almond bars) as a free snack option.
Plates and Snack Boxes Are Back
On domestic flights of 900 miles or more, travelers can once again indulge in a fruit and cheese plate, a chicken salad croissant sandwich, or a snack box featuring a wholesome selection of hummus, pita chips, dried fruit, and pitted green olives.
Welcome Drinks and Enhanced Menus in First Class
Passengers in domestic first class will once again enjoy a full range of welcome drinks before takeoff. Once airborne, they can savor new seasonal menu items including a harissa-spiced (meatless) Impossible burger, shrimp poke bowl, beef brisket, and a burrata salad with tomatoes. Starting next month, first-class travelers will have the option to preselect their meals ahead of their flight.
