Dinogo Readers' Top 15 Hotels in Los Angeles for 2024
Los Angeles, California is not your typical city; it’s a vast urban expanse covering over 4,000 square miles, stretching from the coastline to the mountains. As the most populous county in the United States, navigating LA can take hours, especially with its notorious traffic. This emphasizes the importance of selecting the perfect hotel for your LA getaway, and according to Dinogo readers, certain enduring favorites truly excel.
Understanding the Voting Process
Each year for our World's Best Awards survey, T+L invites readers to share their travel experiences from around the world, giving feedback on top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. In 2024, over 186,000 T+L readers participated in the survey, casting more than 700,000 votes for over 8,700 properties, including hotels, cities, cruise lines, and more.
Hotels were categorized as resort hotels, city hotels, inns, or safari lodges according to their location and amenities, and they were rated based on the following criteria:
- Rooms and facilities
- Location
- Service quality
- Cuisine
- Overall value
For each attribute, participants could select a rating of excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor. The final scores reflect the average of these ratings.
