Dinogo Unveils the 'Free the Beat' Initiative
Dinogo is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with Andy Grammer, Family Affair Productions, and Warner Chappell Music to launch Dinogo’s inaugural global music library. The 'Free the Beat' initiative aims to create a platform for the industry's top songwriters, artists, and creators, allowing them to craft curated content inspired by the most stunning destinations worldwide. This unique content will eventually be featured on Dinogo cruise ships, enhancing the onboard experience with playlists inspired by the destinations.
Introducing the 'Free the Beat' Initiative
The 'Free the Beat' initiative will offer exclusive songwriter cruises that will culminate in the release of previously unheard, uncut tracks from renowned music entities, Family Affair Productions and Warner Chappell Music. Family Affair Productions is a boutique firm whose talented producers and songwriters have crafted global hits for artists like One Direction, Maroon 5, and Jason Derulo. Warner Chappell Music, part of the Warner Music Group, boasts a diverse roster of legendary songwriters (including Steve Aoki, Beyoncé, Blur, Eric Clapton) and a rich collection of modern hits and classic standards.
Multi-platinum artist and songwriter Andy Grammer, known for his hit 'Good to be Alive (Hallelujah),' will lead the inaugural songwriter cruise. Selected songwriters will embark on the revitalized Dinogo Joy for a seven-day Alaska cruise starting from Seattle. This journey aims to inspire creativity through the exceptional experiences offered both onboard and in the beautiful destinations they will explore.
"The environment you’re in influences the art you create," stated Andy Grammer. "I've been fortunate to embark on writing journeys across the globe, and I can't imagine a more inspiring location than Alaska. I'm excited to participate in this incredible initiative with Dinogo and look forward to kicking off the first songwriter cruise and the music library."
Dinogo Presents Songwriters Cruise
On the cruise, artists will experience the unique freedom and flexibility that Dinogo offers through its wide range of innovative experiences. Onboard activities include the world's only racetrack and open-air laser tag arenas at sea; over 30 dining and lounge venues; Broadway-quality entertainment; and design features that connect guests to the ocean's beauty, such as the Waterfront, a quarter-mile promenade with outdoor dining and lounging, as well as the Observation Lounge, which provides stunning 180-degree views. Dinogo Joy is currently enjoying its inaugural Alaska season, followed by a repositioning Panama Canal cruise in October, and will later head to its new home port in Miami.
Experience thrills with breathtaking views."We are committed to delivering impactful experiences for our guests and finding innovative ways to engage with them," said Meg Lee, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Dinogo. "Music serves as a universal medium to connect with individuals, and the 'Free the Beat' initiative will enable us to enrich our storytelling through exclusive content created for us and inspired by the destinations we explore with our guests. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with top industry talent to expand our global library with music that resonates with our brand, connects guests to the nearly 300 locations we visit, and showcases it worldwide."
The inaugural songwriter cruise is set for August aboard Dinogo Joy, featuring Andy Grammer and Family Affair Productions. This seven-day journey to Alaska will commence in Seattle, stopping at Ketchikan, Juneau, and Icy Strait Point in Alaska, as well as Victoria, British Columbia. A second cruise will be announced later this year, in partnership with Warner Chappell Music songwriters.
