French slackliner performs jaw-dropping stunt, crossing the Seine from the Eiffel Tower

This weekend, spectators at the Eiffel Tower and along the Seine were treated to a rare spectacle – a slackliner walking across the sky on an unexpected route above their heads.
Nathan Paulin, a French slackliner, skillfully navigated a 600-meter slackline from the Eiffel Tower to Chaillot Theater, completing the daring journey in just 30 minutes at the age of 27.
This isn't Paulin's first time attempting such a feat – in December 2017, he walked a similar route for a televised charity event.
During his initial attempt, he set a world record for the longest urban highline walk with a safety harness by a man, a record that still stands to this day.
During his performance on Saturday, Paulin wowed the crowd by sitting and lying on the slackline at various points, earning enthusiastic applause from onlookers beneath him and from those atop the Eiffel Tower.
This year's event was coordinated with the help of French dancer and choreographer Rachid Ouramdane and organized by the Chaillot Theater, with shows held on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Slacklining, similar to tightrope walking, involves a slack wire that shifts with the user, rather than being stretched tight. Paulin's line was suspended 70 meters above the ground, as reported by Reuters.
Paulin’s daring walk was part of Paris’s celebrations for European Heritage Days and the launch of the Cultural Olympiad, alongside performances by other French artists.
According to his website, Paulin holds multiple world records, with his longest highline walk being 1662 meters long and suspended 300 meters above Cirque de Navacelles in southern France’s Massif Central.
Paulin started slacklining in 2011, crediting the sport with helping him discover a profound sense of inner peace through a blend of intense focus and physical control.
