If you typically choose Uber over Lyft, consider opting for Lyft for your airport trips this holiday season. From Dec. 16, 2021, to Jan. 9, 2022, travelers will earn 4 Delta SkyMiles for every dollar spent on Lyft rides to or from any U.S. airport.

Delta passengers should ensure their SkyMiles account is linked to their Lyft account, as both are enhancing their ongoing four-year partnership with new in-app features.

"Lyft users with a linked Delta SkyMiles account will start receiving extra travel reminders and real-time flight status updates, ensuring they have all the necessary information to plan their airport trips efficiently," as stated in a press release.

Lyft will introduce features for linked account holders to get reminders about their upcoming Delta flights through the Lyft app and via email, including essential details like flight number, destination, departure/boarding times, terminal number, and gate number, all accessible within the Lyft app.

Once the promotion concludes on Jan. 9, earnings will revert to 2 miles for each dollar spent on airport rides and 1 mile for every dollar spent on all other Lyft rides in the U.S.

New Lyft users can earn up to $20 in ride credits, received as two $10 discounts on the "Eligible First Ride," which includes the first and second Lyft rides completed in the U.S. within 60 days of signing up via the link here.
