How to Access Minute Suites with Priority Pass – Enjoy a Free Private Room at the Airport

Often considered superior to a standard airport lounge, Minute Suites offer a fantastic escape where travelers can unwind and recharge before their flight. These private rooms, available at various airports, can be rented by the hour, providing a serene space to work, nap, or simply escape the airport's hustle and bustle.
While some travelers need to pay for Minute Suites, Priority Pass members can enjoy one complimentary hour. This fantastic perk has allowed me to relax in a suite at no cost after an early arrival at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), and I’ve taken full advantage of it several times.
From my experiences, I've gathered a few helpful tips that both first-timers and seasoned users might find useful.

You can locate Minute Suites in the following airports:

Now that you know where to find Minute Suites with your Priority Pass, here are some handy tips for your next visit.
You have the option to reserve online ahead of time.
While you don't need a reservation, booking in advance through the Minute Suites website can ensure your access.
This is particularly useful if you have an important conference call and need a private, quiet environment, or if you're facing an overnight layover and want to catch some sleep.
Food and beverages are not included with Minute Suites.

Minute Suites offers a variety of snacks and drinks available for purchase at check-in and within the room, but none are complimentary for Priority Pass members or other guests. The agent mentioned that Minute Suites "partners with Priority Pass," but it operates differently from a lounge. Therefore, consider eating before you arrive and/or bringing a drink with you.
The first hour is complimentary for Priority Pass members, after which it costs $34 for each additional hour.
Unlike many Priority Pass lounges that typically allow a three- to four-hour stay, Minute Suites enforces stricter time limits on your visit.
Each Priority Pass member can utilize their lounge access to enjoy a Minute Suite for one hour, with subsequent hours available at a discounted rate of $34 each.

Minute Suites offer more than just a place to take a nap.
Although many guests may choose to take a nap, remember that a Minute Suite can also serve as a private workspace during your layover. The rooms are quite soundproof, featuring white-noise machines, making it an ideal spot for making or receiving calls.
You can take advantage of the fast internet to complete some work at the small desk provided in the room.
Start by adjusting the thermostat and the white-noise generator.

Regardless of your purpose for using the room, your initial steps should include setting the thermostat to your preferred temperature and adjusting the white-noise dial.
Make sure to connect to the Wi-Fi network (the password is available at the front desk and in the room) and charge your devices while you’re there.
Here’s a tip to extend your stay at Minute Suites.
Although up to three guests can accompany the Cardholder in the same Minute Suite at no extra cost, the complimentary Priority Pass guest access cannot be used to extend your hours. However, there's a clever way to gain extra time in a Minute Suite.
Minute Suites will only process your Priority Pass for one guest, granting one free hour. But, there are ways to stay longer than that. My wife Katie and I have consistently checked in for a two-hour stay by each using a Priority Pass card.
I also experimented by asking the attendant if I could present two additional Priority Pass cards along with Katie's to enjoy three complimentary hours. Since I offered three different cards, the check-in agent gladly accepted, allowing us a free three-hour stay.
Some locations offer discounted showers.
If you want to freshen up before or after your flight, certain locations like Dallas and Charlotte provide showers for $30 for a half-hour, or just $20 if you rent a suite.
Even without booking a room, make sure to show your Priority Pass card when reserving a shower, as members can enjoy a discounted rate of $20 for a 30-minute shower.
How to obtain a Priority Pass membership for accessing Minute Suites.

While you can buy Priority Pass memberships, many credit cards include Priority Pass airport lounge access as a benefit. Here are some of my favorite cards that provide unlimited lounge access for the primary cardholder and at least two free guests per visit:
- Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card
- Chase Sapphire Reserve
- The Platinum Card® from American Express*
- The Business Platinum Card® from American Express*
- Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card*
* Enrollment is necessary.
Conclusion
Although reserving a private room by the hour may not be the first thing that comes to mind at an airport, it can be a valuable benefit if you need to catch up on sleep, change clothes, repack your carry-on in privacy, or take an important work call.
With just one complimentary hour through Priority Pass, you won't have much time for a restful sleep without paying for extra time. However, keep in mind that you can combine free hours if you have multiple Priority Pass memberships from different credit cards or if you're traveling with someone else who holds a Priority Pass membership.
In summary, if you're looking for privacy and a quick nap, this is an excellent benefit offered by Priority Pass.
