Just before my two-day road trip to Puebla, a picturesque colonial city a couple of hours from Mexico City, I received a straightforward directive: pack lightly. I can tell a shoe is comfortable for all-day wear when my ankle doesn’t ache after about three hours on my feet, and this pair passed that test. They provide the arch support needed to keep my feet properly aligned, mimicking the orthotics I should wear but never do. Plus, they’re incredibly lightweight, giving me that walking-on-clouds sensation I always seek.
