Introducing: Earn up to 9 points for every dollar spent on stays at World of Hyatt's newly added Mr & Mrs Smith properties

Exciting promotions are available from World of Hyatt, offering a chance to accumulate a significant number of points through a new hotel collaboration.

Members of the World of Hyatt Credit Card can now earn up to 9 points per dollar on their stays at Mr & Mrs Smith properties.

However, you don't need to be a cardholder to earn extra points. All World of Hyatt members receive 5 base points for every dollar spent on room rates at participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels when booked through Hyatt channels. Cardholders will now earn an additional 4 bonus points per dollar on room rates when those stays are booked and paid for with a World of Hyatt Credit Card.

This is fantastic news, especially considering that when Hyatt's acquisition of Mr & Mrs Smith hotels was first announced, holders of the World of Hyatt Credit Card and World of Hyatt Business Credit Card were not eligible for bonus points when using their cards at these properties.

World of Hyatt members will also earn credit towards tier status and Hyatt Milestone Rewards, as well as credit for a Brand Explorer award (which allows guests to earn a free night for every five different Hyatt brands they stay with), along with room upgrades for Globalist members at check-in (subject to availability).

The bonus on spending at Mr & Mrs Smith hotels will be beneficial for my upcoming visit to Hotel Kompas Dubrovnik in Croatia.

My total expenses will be around $837, which will earn me over 7,500 World of Hyatt points because I’ll use my World of Hyatt Credit Card to cover the stay. This is before the bonus points I receive from my World of Hyatt Globalist status, which adds a 30% points bonus on Hyatt purchases, yielding an extra 1.5 points per dollar spent.

There are a few additional promotions to note. World of Hyatt members can enjoy up to 15% off stays through Jan. 4, 2025, at participating hotels in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Asia Pacific, and Latin America when booked by July 9, 2024. Use the special offer code "STAYNOW."

Lastly, World of Hyatt has renewed its offer for double elite night credits at its Thompson and Dream hotels. Members can earn double tier-qualifying night credits for each eligible night stayed at Thompson and/or Dream hotels when registered by June 30, 2024, for stays until July 15, 2024.
