Korean Air introduces an exciting new business-class experience featuring doors
Korean Air is set to launch a fresh business-class offering, making its debut in just a few days.
The Seoul-based airline revealed details of its Prestige Suites 2.0 in a press release on Monday.
Korean Air's latest product features a 1-2-1 layout, ensuring direct aisle access for all passengers. It is a tailored version of the Collins Aerospace Horizon design.

Arguably the most significant aspect of the seats is the inclusion of sliding privacy doors standing 52 inches tall. These doors are designed to enhance travelers' sense of personal space.
KOREAN AIRMoreover, the center seats can transform into a "honeymoon" setup when the privacy divider between them is lowered.
KOREAN AIRAdditional features include Qi wireless charging pads, 60-watt USB-C fast-charging ports, and 24-inch TV screens.
This next-generation Prestige Suite will make its debut on Korean's Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, with the first aircraft expected to be launched later this month. Korean has ordered 20 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners, each equipped with a 36-seat business-class cabin.
The new product is also anticipated to be retrofitted into the current Boeing 777-300ER fleet, although no specific timeline has been given for this upgrade project.
KOREAN AIRKorean aims to launch the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner featuring the new Prestige Suites on Tuesday, with a flight scheduled from Seoul to Tokyo.
In the coming months, Korean Air plans to utilize this new jet for long-haul routes, including the journey from Seoul to Vancouver, as well as destinations in the western United States and Europe.
Alongside the new business-class seats, Korean's 787-10s will be the first to offer Wi-Fi connectivity. While no additional information was provided about the airline's internet packages, we will update this story as soon as we receive more details from a carrier representative.
Korean's current primary business-class product, the Apex Suite, already delivers an exceptional experience, so it will be interesting to see how travelers respond to this new seat.
Although the window seats in the Apex configuration provide ample personal space and privacy, some frequent flyers have noted that these seats can feel a bit narrow.
KOREAN AIRThe positive aspect is that the new Prestige Suites 2.0 will feature 46 inches of pitch and a width of 21 inches. The lie-flat beds will extend up to 79 inches, which should address some of the concerns regarding the current offering.
Additionally, it remains to be seen whether Korean will implement this new product as its standard following the merger with Asiana Airlines, which is anticipated to receive full approval later this year.
