New Delta Flights to the Caribbean and Mexico Set to Launch in 2024

Soon, visiting the pristine white sandy beaches of the Dominican Republic, the rum distilleries of Barbados, the Pacific Coast of Mexico, and the vibrant colonial neighborhoods of Curaçao will be easier than ever.
Delta Air Lines has just revealed a range of new and expanded flight routes to sunny destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean, all scheduled to begin this upcoming November and December. These additional flights will provide travelers with more options and increased flexibility for booking trips during a peak travel season, especially to tropical destinations.
In a statement, Delta’s senior vice president of network planning, Joe Esposito, remarked, “This new schedule offers travelers unmatched choices, with up to 1,000 weekly flights to unique locations across Latin America and the Caribbean.”

These aren’t the only destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean that Delta will connect to next winter. Overall, the airline will provide flights to 50 cities in the region (and nearly 200 cities globally).
This is part of Delta’s ongoing global expansion efforts. In late 2023, the airline announced a new nonstop route from Atlanta to Mexico’s new Tulum Airport (TQO), set to begin on March 28, 2024, along with plans for daily nonstop service from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) starting June 6, 2024. Spring and summer 2024 will also introduce new routes to Europe, including ATL to Zurich Airport (ZRH) on May 31; JFK to Italy’s Naples International Airport (NAP) and Ireland’s Shannon Airport (SNN), both starting May 23; and JFK to Germany’s Munich Airport (MUC) beginning April 9.
