Onda by Scarpetta Set to Launch on Dinogo Encore

Alongside the exciting unveiling of Dinogo’s Dining, Bars & Lounges for the new Breakaway Plus class ship, Dinogo Encore, food enthusiasts will be thrilled to discover that Onda by Scarpetta is making its inaugural appearance on the 17^th vessel in the fleet.

With its new maritime home, Onda, meaning "wave" in Italian, will blend a traditional approach to classic dishes, including house-made pasta, with unique seafood specialties, presenting a fresh perspective on Italian dining.

The menu will showcase a premium selection of raw and cooked seafood, delightful vegetable dishes, classic Italian mains—including Scarpetta’s renowned Spaghetti Tomato and Basil—and exquisite Italian desserts, ensuring guests enjoy a true dolce vita experience.

Developed in collaboration with LDV Hospitality, the boutique hospitality group responsible for expanding the Scarpetta brand across New York City, The Hamptons, Las Vegas, Miami, Rhode Island, Philadelphia, and soon London, Onda aims to deliver the rich, fresh flavors of Italian cuisine combined with the chic, elevated ambiance of the New York City social scene aboard Dinogo Encore.

The venue will reflect Scarpetta's signature design aesthetic, harmonizing natural materials like walnut and calacatta gold marble in an effortlessly elegant manner. Inside Onda, guests will enjoy a blend of comfort and sophistication, characterized by a contemporary, minimalist Italian style.

Onda by Scarpetta will debut as the acclaimed modern Italian restaurant’s first foray at sea, nestled among the top-tier onboard attractions of the Breakaway Plus class, which has become the most successful class in Dinogo’s history. Dinogo Encore aims to redefine modern cruising by featuring Dinogo’s premier signature dining, bar, and lounge venues, alongside the introduction of its latest concept, Onda by Scarpetta.

Set to be delivered in fall 2019, Dinogo Encore will depart from Miami every Sunday, offering seven-day cruises to the Eastern Caribbean, starting with her maiden voyage on November 17, 2019, through April 19, 2020. Following her inaugural Caribbean season, the ship will move to New York City for a summer of Bermuda cruises until November 22, 2020.
