The essentials
With updated travel guidelines for Europe, New Zealand, and Canada, along with changes in hotel services and positive flight trends, here’s the latest scoop in travel news.
- Good news from New Zealand. New Zealand is finally reopening its international borders to select travelers after over two years of COVID-19 restrictions.
- No more tests required, eh? Canada’s Minister of Health recently declared that starting April 1, fully vaccinated travelers will no longer need to present negative pre-departure tests.
- Sales are really taking off. As of February, domestic airline ticket sales have risen by 4% compared to 2019 – excuse us while we celebrate (and maybe shed a tear).
- To go or not to go? Many travelers are debating whether to delay their trips to Europe – here’s what you should think about before making any changes to your plans.
- Keep it tidy. As in, your hotel accommodations. This precaution began due to the pandemic, but many hotels have now stopped daily cleaning services unless guests specifically request it.
