This month, Hampton by Hilton is featuring birthday cake waffles on its menu

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this month, Hampton by Hilton has something special in store (or should I say waffle iron?). The hotel chain is honoring its fourth decade with delightful birthday cake waffles.

"The Hampton Waffle embodies the essence of our Hampton experience — it's cheerful, cozy, and welcoming," said Shruti Gandhi Buckley, senior vice president and brand leader of Hampton by Hilton, in an interview with TPG.

These waffles are bringing joy, warmth, and a festive invitation to a party. The new birthday cake flavor will be available throughout the month at locations across the U.S. and Canada.

Birthday cake waffles sound like a dream come true, and guests enjoying Hampton by Hilton's complimentary breakfast can elevate their experience by adding sprinkles, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream on top.

Waffles made their debut at Hampton by Hilton in 2009 as a "bold initiative to streamline breakfast operations," according to Gandhi Buckley. She noted that this delightful breakfast item has "transformed into a genuine brand hallmark and a way to foster community at every Hampton by Hilton."

In fact, guests at Hampton by Hilton consume approximately 30 million full-size waffles and 120 million mini-waffles annually. As Gandhi Buckley imagined, that's enough to reach from New York City to London.

As of 2022, Hampton by Hilton has been exploring distinct seasonal flavors to enhance its complimentary hot breakfast program.

"Since then, we roll out seasonal flavors three to four times a year," explained Gandhi Buckley, noting that past flavors have included pumpkin spice, red velvet, and lemon, among others.

"We’ve been delighted by the warm reception of these seasonal flavors from our guests and the excitement they've sparked on social media," she stated. "Even Paris Hilton got in on the fun last year, whipping up pink strawberry waffle creations with the renowned Waffle Lady, Regina Triche, highlighting how Hampton's waffles continue to inspire and delight our guests."

If savory breakfasts are more your style, Gandhi Buckley wants you to know that Hampton by Hilton's breakfast offers more than just sweet options.

"In addition to our signature waffle, we provide a selection of hot items like eggs, bacon, sausage, and healthier choices such as fresh fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal, ensuring there's something for everyone," she added.
