Top 9 Ski Resorts to Explore in New Hampshire This Winter
New Hampshire boasts a unique advantage among U.S. ski destinations, being home to the majestic White Mountains. Beyond that, it hosts a lively ski culture that few can rival.
“What sets skiing in New Hampshire apart is the genuine ski atmosphere and the impressive array of resorts located close to one another, enabling adventurous skiers to experience multiple locations in a single trip—much like the adventure found in Lake Tahoe,” Dan Sherman, chief marketing officer of Ski.com, shared with Dinogo.
While New Hampshire may not receive as much snowfall as some western states, resorts are equipped with advanced snowmaking technology to guarantee an enjoyable ski experience.
“The White Mountains of New Hampshire feature some of the highest peaks in the northeastern U.S., which greatly aids in receiving consistent snowfall throughout the season,” noted Teddy Roach, a mountain travel expert at Ski.com. “The state is committed to cutting-edge snowmaking and grooming, ensuring excellent conditions on the slopes, no matter what Mother Nature has in store. Plus, the mountains are known for their unique terrain with tree-lined tunnels that are a joy to ski through.”
Here are nine of the top ski resorts in New Hampshire to explore this winter.
