While there are many lavish destinations for the ultimate wine-themed getaway, my crew loves heading to Virginia to sip exquisite wines with the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains as our backdrop. Recently, we explored the Shenandoah Valley, where options abound. Local favorites include Ecco Adesso (great for large groups), Rockbridge, and Jump Mountain vineyards. If you’re up for a drive north towards Charlottesville, Pippin Hill and King Family Vineyards offer polo matches alongside your wine. If beer is more your style, Devil’s Backbone is a top choice, with a main base in Roseland and locations in Lexington and Charlottesville.
