United Is Bringing Back Flights to Alaska and Montana for 2022
After announcing last month that it is reducing service to twelve smaller domestic airports, United Airlines has confirmed it will resume several routes next year, connecting travelers to some of the nation’s most breathtaking outdoor locations.
Beginning in summer 2022, United will restart flights to Alaska from various major hubs:
- Newark International Airport in New Jersey—Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport
- George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston—Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport
- San Francisco International Airport—Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport
- O’Hare International Airport in Chicago—Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and Fairbanks International Airport
The flights to Alaska aren’t the only ones making a comeback in United’s domestic network for spring and summer 2022. The airline also announced a significant number of flights returning to Chicago, Denver, Houston, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., including to airports that serve as gateways to popular national parks and outdoor adventures.
