Stayed here for four nights mid September 2024. I became aware of this hotel from YouTuber 'Side Trip Life', the hotel was just as great as STL described.At the end of the beach front esplanade, next to the Air Force base, the location is perfect! Super nice staff, lovely comfortable rooms, great pool/jacuzzi, motor scooters for rent, and as a bonus, I met the world famous Kun Lek from STL's video!One of, if not the best reasonably priced hotels in PKK, I'll definitely stay here everytime I have the pleasure of visiting this beautiful place. 🙏❤🇹🇭

A nice hotel with good views of the bay. First floor rooms with less of a view are less expensive with second floor rooms and the better views slightly more. Prices were good for the area. Not a bad walk to restaurants and bars. The building is a little older but is well maintained. The rooms and particularly the bed was comfortable and clean.

Charming small hotel bright colours and immaculate maintenance. Nothing wrong with room furnishings, everything clean and comfortable. Every hotel cannot be new. Added bonus Amazon Coffee short walking distance. The view, to die for. We hope to return.

😅The hotel looks old but clean and has a swimming pool.🌾Room 2,500 baht, has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 1 living room.🌾Other single rooms price 900-1,000 baht.😅Can't charge the battery in the bedroom.🤔Bed covers, blankets, curtains are faintly dusty.

Have stayed at Sun Beach many times over the past 6 years and find it comfortable and staff very friendly.I was concerned to read another review by a fellow from Germany claiming money taken from his room by a member of staff.The member of staff he is accusing has been with this establishment since I have been coming here.She virtually runs Sun Beach and is extremely honest, reliable and efficient. There are cameras all around the premises and I am a little confused why this fellow didn't ask Management to show footage of the evening in question or go and report to Police.I think this fellow should post an apology to Lek, the person, who supposedly stole from his room.He really should be ashamed of himself.

The hotel was fine on the outside. There is a nice pool and deckchairs. The views are also nice from the rooms. I thought the rooms were outdated. The decor and furniture were old-fashioned and futureboard was everywhere. To cover old surfaces?Summary: Nice views and exterior. Rooms in need of an upgrade.

Actually a very nice guesthouse, but there are thieves on the loose and seemingly systematically. But our perception from the beginning. When we checked in we were immediately informed that the hotel would not be liable in the event of theft. We haven't thought anything further about it. One afternoon I counted the money, hid it in my backpack (my own stupidity) and quickly went for dinner. The next morning the shock. There is a lack of money. But strange, only the big bills. If I were a burglar I would take everything. You could have saved yourself the trip to the hotel staff. A strange reaction. Immediate reference to the signed note that there is no liability. An employee looked completely caught, immediately jumped on her moped and drove away. Overall, you get the impression that this happens often and that you are involved. Otherwise, as the owner, I would be interested in clarification. At least we will avoid this place in the future.

Rooms are getting old, room 9, toilet facility only for sporty people. It's best to put your legs in the shower. Toilet seat off center. Breakfast just powder coffee and cookies, a few bananas. Pool ok. TV so-so. …

I am surprised that none of the reviews mentioned the very hard bed. Side sleepers like me will probably not like it. I had to take a strong pill to fall asleep. TV didn't work. Room is dated and smelled stale. I think a lot of the reviewers are either blind with no sense of smell or they are fake. This place has one and only one thing going for it. Location on the waterfront. It's more like a guesthouse than a hotel. I am not a guesthouse person so maybe that has something to do with it. Breakfast not included but they do provide coffee, tea, ovaltine, crackers, and biscuits. There are cafes nearby if you want more.

Stayed here (withOUT a reservation) thru a recommendation from YouTuber "Side Trip Life." Could not have been happier! Room was spotless, location was excellent, price was great AND the manager "Lek" was an absolute delight! Would leave 10 stars if l could. 😁

Very warm welcome despite our late arrival around 9 p.m. Prices (as of August 2023) were 800 to 1000 baht (depending on the sea view of the room) for a room for 2 people. A pre-lunch is included: bananas, biscuits and instant coffee. The only negative point: we asked for an extra bed since there were 3 of us. For 200 baht extra, they opened the small futon with a metal bar in the center which was 5 feet long and for which a towel served as a bedspread…so we slept 3 in a queen bed (very comfortable bed by the way). Otherwise the pool was fresh and clean!
