highly recommended place: safe, top service of host, clean, good energies, embedded in beautiful nature, situated on top of a small hill, awesome views of beautiful sunrises at the horizon, at the point of writing this review the bungalows including interior design are all brand new, great value for money, definitely worth visiting. please note that for most guests renting a bicycle, motorbike, or car will be of convenience to discover the island respectively doing activities like shopping, visiting the beach etc. smoothly; but walking and occasionally taking a moto-taxi does also work. bungalows are most suitable for couples and singles. i had an awesome stay i will never forget. much gratitude to host ake and his family 🙏🏻

Staying at De Saran Lanta was a fantastic experience. We had a fantastic stay here! The location offers breathtaking views and is close to local attractions. Renting a scooter, which the host can organise, made exploring easy and fun. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Ake, our host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great trip.

We had an incredible stay here. One of the best places we’ve stayed in Thailand.Ake is a magnificent host. He is going to do his best for you to feel at home. Always available when needed.The room is amazing. Super clean, bright, with a beautiful balcony and stunning views. AC and Wifi work perfect.We are digital nomads and this place definitely has a 10/10.We also rented a bike with Ake at one of the best rates we had in Thailand. And the bike was working good all the time.This is a place I can honestly and surely recommend to everyone who needs a place to rest (no noises, only birds), work and stay away from crowded areas.Thanks Ake 🙏 we wish you the best to you and your family 🙌🏼

The best, best place we've stayed in Asia. We really loved Ake's place. The beds are so comfy and the area is so peaceful and quiet so we slept better than we had in a long time. You get the best views from your balcony and the sunset was incredible. Its a great place for digital nomads to stay in Koh Lanta: the WiFi works great and Ake has a coworking space set up next to the kitchen which I loved too. There's a small shared kitchen which is great for when you just want to prepare some food at home and a kettle in the room. We also rented a bike for a month here and we didn't have a single issue. We were so well looked after. We can't wait to come back and to stay with Ake again. It's truly a great pleasure. Thank you Ake! See you again, my friend.

The best accommodation we had during our 5 months trip through South East Asia! The rooms are super modern, clean, big and have everything you need - a big bed, balcony, fridge, smart TV, big bathroom, a huge water container to fill your bottles and more! We were more than happy with our stay! Ake is the best host, he is so friendly and helps out with literally everything! We always enjoyed chatting with him! We recommend to book a scooter with him, since he gives by far the fairest deal on the island! Also, if you’re interested in booking a tour, reach out to him (also much cheaper than through an agency)! We highly recommend this place and would always come back! Thank you, Ake for everything!

I had a wonderful time in Koh Lanta not only because the island itself, but also this accommodation and Ake, the host. Firstly, the place is lovely and you have a panoramic view from the room where you can see sunset and sunrise everyday. It is also very quite so it is perfect if you are looking for a place where you can both work and relax. Location is great and you can easily explore the island by riding a scooter. The room is clean and it includes a shower with warm water so it has everything you need! Moreover, whoever stays in this place can't end the review without mentioning Ake. He is so attentive, responsive, and caring. It was my first time in the island and he made my trip easy and comfortable. He always helped me the best he could; showing me the island, renting a scooter, and dropping me off at the airport, etc. I was so grateful and there is no doubt where I will be staying if I have a chance to go back to Lanta.

Wonderful host that helps with everything. Clean and fresh room, modern and incredibly nice view. Recommend renting a moped as it is a little bit up in the jungle, about 10-15 minutes walk from Saladan. Recommended!

I had a wonderful month here, best vacation ever! The accommodation is impeccable and well equipped, a great panorama from the room, all on a small hill. In addition, sheets and cleaning are done every week, rare enough to note!! I mostly lived in the neighborhood and loved it. the main necessary shops are next door and the furthest away 3 minutes by tuktuk! Ake was a perfect host from start to finish, so much so that at the end of my stay I had to leave a friend. We laughed and talked a lot, I already miss it! surely the best airbnb I have stayed in, without hesitation! thanks for everything Ake :)

Excellent apartments. With a gorgeous view of the bridge and bay. In addition to the apartments themselves, there is an area where you can work. There are sun loungers from which you can enjoy the sunset. Mr. Ake himself is an incredibly caring and friendly host. I recommend! One of the best places in Koh Lanta!)

Great stay. Host Ake is very helpful with everything you might need. He is very nice and friendly. Rooms are modern and clean. Kitchen outdoors. Nice view through the windows. It is in the jungle, on the hill. Motorcycle rental also available for a good price. Best host I have ever met.

I stayed over two months in this special place. Special because of the jungle view from the balcony, the monkeys that hop around, the fantastic outdoor kitchen with all amenities you need and a really comfy room (and mattress!)But the most special about the accommodation is the owner “Ake” Akarat. He is the most genuine airbnb owner I’ve ever met in my travel life (no joke). Helps you with everything, is not after your money and even bought fresh fish for me and bbqed it. He’s really taking care of his guests.A big plus is that you can also take his bicycle for free. In 10-15 minutes you cycle to the idyllic Long Beach. Or rent a bike and drive all the way to the south, it’s amazing!Lanta market, a big supermarket in Saladan, is nearby.Yep, it’s a special place that I will always remember. Thanks Akarat!

What a hidden gem! 🤩Tucked up on the hill, Ake's place is private and tranquil while only a 15 min walk from the main town.It's a beautiful, modern bedroom with a spacious en suite toilet and shower. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, and the air con is quiet and powerful.The real highlight was Ake himself - such a genuine and warm man who made it his priority to ensure we had a perfect stay.The outdoor kitchen was an amazing experience - there's nothing like cheffing up a tasty meal with ingredients fresh from the market, in the middle of the jungle.Ake also had a brand new scooter for us to rent, at a very reasonable price.This resort is probably the best value I've found on my travels. Book while you can!

A great place to stay if you’re coming to Lanta. Modern and clean room with a good sized bathroom and a huge comfy bed. There is good AC and also a fan in the room. The balcony is lovely and gets good sun in the morning.There is an outdoor kitchen which has everything you need to cook up some tasty food or make a mango smoothie! It’s about a 15 minute walk away from Saladan with a big supermarket and a food market in the evening with some great food. It’s close to the beach too!The thing that makes this place extra special is Ake. He went above and beyond for us during our stay and always made sure we were ok. He also has a new scooter you can rent for a good price which is very convenient. I hope to return soon :)
