Fabulous location. Lovely hostess. Like a little fisherman's hut but with air con. A must stay.

Wow, this place is amazing, you have to stay for at least one night when you travel to Koh Lanta. Sareena the host and her family are friendly and kind.The rooms were entered via a traditional one storey house and then out along a bamboo walkway over the tidal sea/mudflats. The bedroom itself was fully enclosed with aircon & a fan. With large patio doors that look out over a bamboo patio/terrace with cushions & hammock to the sea. It's on stilts, so when the tide comes in, you can sit and watch the fish, and when it's out, the mud fish are equally entertaining. Great for a spot of bird watching too. I left the curtains open all night so that I could watch the sun rise over the bay....beautiful!There is a private kitchen area with fridge, kettle, mugs, and a private shower (hot) room. The large bed was really comfy, towels were also provided.During the day we listened to the call to prayer, which was really atmospheric. At 5am ish it does happen again, but it is much quieter, so not an issue if you like to lie in.It was a privilege to spend a day/night here.

Such a lovely spot. Dreamy bungalow right over the mangrove. I love the outdoor style of the room. Kitchen/hammock/bathroom are outside giving it a real treehouse feel. Hosts are super friendly and kind too. It’s on the quiet side of the island, and everything is extra quiet these days, but it’s surely a tranquil place to relax.

My wife and I decided to spend our wedding anniversary here, and we are so happy we did. Our host, Sunee, and her daughter, were lovely and made sure we had a beutiful stay. The place, which is a bamboo house that has been build (by Sunee's husband) over the water, was magical and offered pinkish/orange sunrises each morning. The accommodation includes a little outside kitchen, a good bathroom with shower, and a hammock, as well as a porch facing the sea with little seats which is perfect for morning mediations or just having a Chang. The room is simple but cosy and has air-conditioning (i.e. it's farang-friendly). You have to enter a shared hallway which takes you to the back where the house is located (we loved this, as it gave us a very local experience).The little road leading up to their house was always packed with neighbourhood roosters, chickens, cats, dogs (all friendly) as well as some adorable, smily little children. And sometimes you would pass an elderly lady watching the road from her porch, or a shirtless man working hard on his craftsmanship which was building tables. The small community has a serene vibe of simplicity and honesty, which we loved.We really can't express enough gratitude to Sunee and her family. They have really created a unique little gem for those who want to experience Ko Lanta's Old Town the local way, away from tourists traps etc. We met some amazing Thai families in Old Town and experienced great food. Sunee also runs her own restaurant further down the road into Old Town where she specialised in homemade curries. You must try the one with freshly caught Barracuda! It's amazing.Sunee and her daughter took us in with the warmth of a relative and we will always be grateful for our stay there. And, since we are lucky enough to live in Thailand now, we will make sure we revisit Deep House soon.🙏 ❤️

Honestly the most amazing place we've stayed in all of Thailand. The property itself is so comfortable. It had just amazing views and one of the comfiest beds. It's just a short walk from the town and the hosts are so nice. They even made us a delicious home cooked meal. Would stay again in a heartbeat

Very pleasant place to observe the tide at the end of the day, sitting on the hammock. Prefer the superior room, more comfortable.
