Had a great stay at this hotel, it is a good standard and Excellent value for money. I booked through Agoda and got a good deal. I would definitely stay here again. The lady and her husband were very nice and helpful and organised the transfer to phi phi island for me, they quoted me a price and then later told me it was actually less and charged only the lower amount. The bed was very comfortable best one in Thailand so far. I stayed extra two nights because it was so comfortable and the room was very clean. The shower was excellent the bedding was good quality and soft and good AC. Replenished water coffee each day. The pool was nice too that I was able to use in the connected resort. They helped me take my luggage up and down stairs as I was on the first floor. I would definitely stay here again and have recommended to others. Two good restaurants nearby called n and n and papaya. Was quiet due to off season but very relaxing stay and I would have stayed longer had I not booked the transfer. So far it's been my favourite hotel in Thailand and I cannot fault it. Small balcony and seat was nice to use. Close to main road

Extremely disappointing staff. I explained I have asthma, it is serious, I cannot be around smokers and please put any smoking guests as far away from me as possible. That lasted a single night. The next night at 10:30 pm my throat is feeling scratchy, I go out on my balcony and what do I see? A pack of cigs and dirty ashtray on the balcony attached to mine, and when I look down the staff rolling and smoking directly under my window. See pics! How disrespectful can you get?it only got worse over the 4 days i spent there, with my neighbor smoking every hour on the hour. there were other rooms available; they just didn't care. they could have asked my neighbor if they smoked before placing them next to me; they just didn't care. they could have told my neighbor i was ill and asked them to smoke downstairs ten feet away; they just didn't care. i became extremely ill and big surprise! they just didn't care! AND they lied to my face multiple times when i asked them for help. there was no confusion; owner and staff ALL lied to my face every time. avoid at all costs.

Very comfortable little hotel near the beach.We stayed two nights and really enjoyed to use the hotel as a base to relax and recover from extensive traveling over the past weeks. The rooms are well equipped, the beds extremely comfortable, and the location not too far form the beach, and far enough from the main road to avoid any street noise.Guest at Tamarind also have access to the swimming pool next door at 'Peaceful Resort'.Overall, a great stay and we would probably stay here again if we ever come back to Koh Lanta.

Close to the beach and the street/shops, but in the perfect quiet spot in between. Pool was nice enough. The man in the reception was super helpful and generally just a good guyHighly recommend the café on the path to the beach

Excellent value. The staff are really helpful. The level of English is good but sometimes a little tight. We are 5 minutes from the most beautiful beach on the island. We also have a swimming pool. Very good choice.
