This is my first bad review and I'm not sure if this is due to the low season. Nevertheless, the hotel gave the impression of being so cold and unfriendly that it was almost ghostly. Everything was dirty, dusty and so old.The blood on the sheets and bed linen was particularly disgusting. After I asked for it to be changed, all they did was change the sheet and put the blanket in a twisted position so that it wasn't immediately obvious. This is absolutely unacceptable.The dogs of the few other guests in the pool are another major hygiene problem that the hotel staff simply ignores. The beach was dirty and unkempt. The selection at breakfast was more than poor and didn't seem very fresh. A lot may be due to the low season, but when you're open and taking money from guests, a certain standard should be offered. This hotel falls far short of that standard. It's better to save money and take another central and clean hotel.

Very good hotel, book on agoda to get better prices even for the same day. We were upgraded for free to a room with a sea view (but shush 🤫 don't tell others)The restaurant is excellent. Count double the price compared to local restaurants.The room is very good. TV air conditioning fridge. It's true that the air conditioning slows down a bit but otherwise it's cool.I've seen a lot of bad comments coming from Thai people. Room clean. The hotel is a bit out of the way. It has a pool. The staff makes an effort. Very sleepy in the off season. Your surroundings are very dirty. Unfortunately often found in Thailand.

Fantastic hotel, spacious rooms. The bad thing, the service, I think that being a hotel they should at least have people who speak a little English, in the restaurant the waiters are all stuck in the kitchen talking to each other, they don't even say hello and you even have to go look for them to having your order taken, changing the attention, the hotel would be perfect

Located between the north and south hotspots of Ko Lanta, it’s the perfect relaxing spot we needed, with a well-maintained pool steps away from the sea. Motorbike rental was easy and fuss-free. Daily buffet breakfast was sufficient and always prepared on-time. Staff is super friendly :)There were plenty of mosquitoes but that’s just the island in general. We enjoyed staying here!

Probably one of the worst places ever stayed needs a complete restoration rooms were awful from bathroom to bedroom wi fi was completely useless kept logging me out every 2 minutes Breakfast was not very nice at all In disbelief that it had a 8 rating Never to return even if it was free

We stayed 2 nights and we really liked it. The hotel is in perfect condition.The rooms are spacious, they have a balcony with a chair and table to sit on. The pool is in front of the beach.Comfortable bed and pillows.Perhaps the buffet menu for lunch/dinner would improve since it has little offer and almost no options for vegetarians.

We rent a villa and it is nice, the biggest, but it has many years behind it.In addition, the light in the villa is super poor, there is nothing missing other than cozy light.Breakfast, well I don't know where to start, I'll put it this way, don't buy it because it's worth the money.Because it is far below normal standards.One day I ask if it is possible to get bacon, it was a very big no and not in a particularly polite way.I would recommend that you go up the main road, go left and have your breakfast at the first cafe you meet.Personally, the times I spoke to them were polite enough.Apart from those who stand with the breakfast, it was impossible to get a smile out of themThe best thing about this place is the view over the water and watching the sunset, but then again I think there must be a better hotel where you can also watch the sunset over the water

The hotel is value for money and don’t forget that you are in Koh Lanta and not in Phuket. The 4* is actually 3*. The rooms are quite big and staff make their best for cleaning and serving. Breakfast is basic and I could say boring. Keep in mind that there is extra cost for the children. The reason I rate with 4* and not with 5* is because of manager’s behavior who was too rude with everyone who had an issue.

Tucked away along the enchanting shores of Phra-Ae Beach, Lanta Casuarina Resort stole our hearts with its unassuming charm and breathtaking surroundings. Picture-perfect sands with turquoise blueish waters, all against the backdrop of Koh Lanta Yai's mesmerizing sunset – it's the stuff dreams are made of.One of the things that struck us about Koh Lanta was its untouched beauty. Unlike the hustle and bustle of places like Phuket, here you'll find a quieter, more serene atmosphere. The absence of rowdy bars and intrusive beach vendors was a refreshing change, allowing us to truly unwind and soak up the tranquility.The resort itself is a haven of relaxation, with its well-landscaped gardens, inviting swimming pool, and beachfront massage area. Our family deluxe room of 2 queen-sized beds, while perhaps a bit dated in terms of decor, exuded a cozy charm and provided ample space for our group of four.Arita and Korn, the attentive and hardworking front desk guest service officers , made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their efficient service set the tone for our stay, and we couldn't have asked for a smoother check-in experience.Location-wise, Lanta Casuarina couldn't be better situated. Whether you're looking to explore the island's north, south, east, or venture off to Koh Lanta Noi, you're perfectly positioned to do so.Of course, no stay is perfect, and we did have a couple of small suggestions for improvement. A bit more variety in the breakfast spread would be welcomed, and it wouldn't hurt for the front desk staff to greet guests with a bit more enthusiasm along the corridors. Having a stronger shower water pressure will allow guests to spend more time enjoying the facilities than spending too much time in the shower (and probably get more furious).All in all, our 5 days and 4 nights at Lanta Casuarina Resort was nothing short of magical. It's a place where time seems to stand still, allowing you to reconnect with the sun, sand and sea. We're already counting down the days until our next visit and wholeheartedly recommend this slice of paradise to anyone in search of true relaxation and rejuvenation.

The hotel in general was very nice, and can definitely recommend it. Super location right on the beach in Long Beach (in my view the best place to stay on Koh Lanta), breakfast was good and varied, nice pool area (although small and difficult to get a chair since so many tourists "reserve" the chairs from early morning even if the hotel has put up a sign not to do this), and also sunbeds along the beach.

We stayed here with friends earlier this spring and had a positive experience at Lanta Casuarina Beach Resort. A nice clean hotel with friendly staff, spacious oceanview bungalows, a good breakfast buffet and a beautiful infinity pool right by the ocean. Can definitely recommend this place to anyone staying on the southern end of Long Beach on Lanta.
