We had a great stay for 4 nights in this accommodation. There is no direct access to the beach, but you can get there in less than 5 minutes on foot. Close to amenities (restaurants, shops), the rest of the island can easily be accessed by scooters (rental directly at the hotel possible or nearby). The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly. A more relaxing side (we were alone there too, so even better!) which is a change from the neighboring hotel complexes, with a beautiful swimming pool accessible all day long. Breakfast was also very good (the restaurant for other meals was unfortunately closed due to low season).Small point of possible improvement: the bathroom could be renovated a little.

We only ate here, but we ate on 2 separate occasions.Food was very good quality. fair price. Not cheap but not expensiveReally friendly staff. Kind and very relaxed. We came and spent an afternoon relaxing at the pool and just bought drinks too.I often say it's the places you go back to repeatedly, that are doing something right and this place is.

Just spent 3 nights at Papillon Bungalows, Khoa Lanta, Thailand. What a cute little boutique resort! Food was great, staff are so nice, and all guests appear very happy. We had a car, but tuk tuks are readily available. Long Beach is a 5 minute walk. Priced very reasonable! Bungalows are spacious, clean, and everything works.

I have had a great time at Papillon!The tranquility and atmosphere of this resort is hard to beat.The location is good, in the middle of Long Beach and the beach is within walking distance.The rooms are cozy and the bed was not as hard as in many other places in Thailand.

We stayed in papillon for a week and we really envoyed it. Everybody is very helpfull and nice, you really feeling like you re at home. The swimming pool is very good for young kids. Also the restaurant is great, spécial mention for the pad thaï spécial. 😊

So pleased we stayed here and sad to leave. Sure some of the bungalows could use a little paint and maybe a bit of a refresh but for the price and the location they are great. Lovely small swimming pool that has some shade that is good to escape the sun for a hour or so. I couldn’t speak highly enough of the staff. So friendly and helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and we looked forward to it every day and had dinner one evening which we also delicious. We hope to return one day!

We had a great stay at Papillon. Good price quality. Wonderfull staff, and as it is small place it is nice, quiet and cosy. The pool and rooms and public toilet is clean. Great food at the restaurant. Would definitely book again. Although well maintained, it would not hurt to paint some parts again, but nothing that affects your stay.
